  • Next up...

Next up on my shit list is trunthepaige's recent pile of stupid.  She recently said on another post that I'm only preaching to my choir.  Well, now she can deal with me "preaching" to her.  Some of the theist posters on xanga are really outdoing themselves lately.

Paige and I have tussled before.  I'll let you decide if it turned out well for her (you can find links to all postings in our debate in the link I just gave).

LOL! Why do you even bother with that retard?  From the link you posted (I added asterisks to mark the horrific spelling blunders):

So make your case, but you are not the default position. Nor are you unusually intelligent. Your* just another human being with an idea. One that you have never proven, an idea that you have never even tried to prove.

    A Question for Atheists:

With 98% of all humans believing in some higher power or spiritual existence after this life.
and this includes over 30% of so called atheists Way* are you right and everyone else is wrong?

"Way" are you such a moron, paigey?  LOL!! She's a complete and utterly clueless moron. Case closed.

I feel sad for her and for whoever thinks that she has ever made a valid point on anything. She wouldn't know a coherent thought if it hit her on her stupid face.

That entry of hers, like most others, is beyond laughable. Words are simply not enough to convey how thoroughly mistaken she is.  *shakes head*

@In_Reason_I_Trust - Because people listened in sufficient number to move me to shred her.

  • In_Reason_I_Trust

@Zerowing21 - Fair enough. Unfounded idiocy like the kind she spews does have an audience. And yes, I guess staying completely silent on it is probably not the way to go.  But...*sigh.*  Her crap is rivaled in sheer insanity only by LoBornlytes, and maybe that augustus dude.

It should only take you a few short paragraphs (at best) to rip apart such inane idiocy.

I propose that this will begin in intelligent to quasi-intelligent discourse and quickly devolve into a one-sided flame war.

  • GodlessLiberal

We need a new "show us your boobs" for TTP.

  • Dargon

I suppose it is good that someone out there has the patients to "debate" the likes of Paige. I suppose in this case, the goal is not to defeat Paige herself, but to show her readers who is right.

As for her post itself, it was kind of painful to read. And then to be concluded with an appeal to majority, my brain hurts.

  • TheThinkingPerson

Aww, you used the picture I posted on my blog! *is flattered*

And i'm definitely looking forward to reading your rebuttal. She made absolutely no sense, and if I wasn't so bad at debating, i'd tear her apart myself.

  • asrial86

Well it's just too bad that not 98% of the world believes in something because that wasn't backed up with any sort of linking support, and we wouldn't be fucking atheists if we believed there was a god.  We'd be agnosticists.  Man.. I'm really irritated with that post.

  • DJ_GiNSU

I resisted the urge to post "Stop typing and make me a sandwich.  And then shut up and show us your boobs.".   She's a fan of the bible, but I doubt she would appreciate the irony.

  • red_rook

@GodlessLiberal - @ginsu417 - I'm not sure the whole "show us your boobs" thing is very constructive.  You may not think that Christians ever listen to you, but most atheists I've met are former Christians.

You do nothing but reinforce people's beliefs when you act like a complete ass.  It's one thing with Loborn.  None of her posts are any more substantial then the people telling her to show her boobs.

Trunthinpaige may not agree with you, but she at least tries to give an argument rather than simply ignoring people and calling them evil.  I don't see anything good coming out of the idea that Christian women should be ignored, because they won't understand, so just ask them to show their boobs.

  • helvetebrann

Paige is ridiculous.  She asks why we are right?  My response?

93% of American scientists do NOT believe in a god.  Some of the most intelligent minds in the world do not believe in a god.  Hm.  That leaves 7% that do.  (Potentially.)  Not a very big percent.

  • To_BreaktheIce

I find it funny that my high school yearbook could be banned in the bible-state (only cause it has the word of evolution in there).

Anyway, I hate the argument that evolution should not be taught in school. Public schools do not have religious prayers, therefore, science can teach whatever should be taught.

    sigh.
