Travel, travel, travel...
I will be in St. Louis, Mo starting tomorrow. I will just be chilling there for a couple days before I fly out at the ass crack of dawn on Thursday morning for Buffalo to attend the CFI Leadership Conference and deliver my talk on managing volunteers and organizing a big event. If you're in the neighborhood, I'm sure there will be drinking and/or other craziness.

How come none of the cool xangans ever visit Miami?
Anyways have fun and good luck!@MangoWOW - don't worry. They NEVER come to Minnesota. :P At least Miami has appeal. Although I must say, Minnesota is HIGHLY under appreciated. :P
@x_Butterflies_and_Hurricanes_x - I have a friend I would love to visit there though! lol.
But yea, I'm scared of spending so much money getting there when theres nothing to see or visit.@MangoWOW - oh there's plenty to see and do in Minnesota, it's just not as commercial or touristy as other areas. Of course there's the mall of america which, trust me, is not as great as people think it is. Minnesota's appeal is a lot more about the nature stuff. Especially up in the boundary waters, which sadly I've never been. (Minnesota is a big state and the boundary waters are actually a good 10-12 hour drive from where I'm at) But. Minnesota is beautiful and the whole Minnesota nice thing is pretty true- especially in the small towns. My car broke down in a tiny little town of 70-100 people. And the grocery store owner was SO helpful and calling all over to get help for me. So sweet.
Then again, I MIGHT have a bias toward my own state :P
@x_Butterflies_and_Hurricanes_x - Yea whenever I ask my friend about what's to do in Minn he always mentions mall of america but honestly that never interested me. I understand the nature appeal but I'm more into visiting big cities and such. lol
@MangoWOW - Minneapolis is pretty hip. There's tons to do there. If I lived there I'd know more. :P St. Paul not so much. Duluth is pretty cool too. They're not HUGE cities like Chicago or anything but they've definitely got their own little culture going on.
Haha, sorry, JT, for our very off topic conversation here.
@x_Butterflies_and_Hurricanes_x - Haha he lives in St. Paul. Honestly the only reason I'd go is to see snow. I've never seen snow before so I'm crazy to find out what it looks like and feels like.
Do well, man of action!
@MangoWOW - omg what? You've never seen snow!?!? Well, then... you MUST come to Minnesota in late January or February- really the whole damned month. And if you want to know what true cold feels like...
In ways, the cold is almost nice. It wakes you up SOOO much better than coffee ever would. I kind of like the bite to it sometimes.
Ahhh a true Minnesotan.
@x_Butterflies_and_Hurricanes_x - Well I live in Miami so the average winter temp is in the 70's. lol. The coldest it's ever gotten is in the 30's... (Or did it get to the 20's this winter? I don't remember.).
But yea! I wanna see snow so bad!Good luck! Don't get too sick on the plane.
