Travel Schedule
I'm going to be doing some traveling in the next few months. Come out and see me if I'm in your area or take me out to do something fun!Jan. 30-31, Southeast Regional Atheist Meet in Huntsville, Alabama
No speaking at this one. I'm going down to meet up with some high school students and to represent for the SSA. Word.
Notable Speakers: Dave Silverman, Edwin Kagin
Feb. 18-20, SSA's Southern California Leadership Summit in Thousand Oaks, California
I'll be leading a peer problem-solving session for high school leaders. This will also be where the final weigh-in is taken for my weight loss competition with Jen McCreight.
Notable Speakers: Michael Shermer, Jen McCreight, Dan Barker, Darrel Ray
March 5, Purdue University, West Lafayette, Indiana
They're wanting to do a debate, but so far nobody wants to play with me. So I'll either be doing a debate or giving a talk. Free admittance.
March 17, Springfield, Missouri
I'll be returning home to give a talk at Library Station for the Springfield Freethinkers at 7pm. Joy, drinking, and merriment to follow.
Late March, University of Minnesota, Minneapolis-St. Paul, Minnesota
I've been asked to represent the unbelievers in a debate across from yet-undecided Muslim debaters. Should be fun.
April 7-10, the American Humanists Conference in Boston, Massachusetts
Am giving two talks. One about effective activism, the other as part of the SSA's Leadership Track Breakout Session. Interesting story: there will be a guided tour of the area where the Salem witch trials took place afterward - and Jeff Wagg, whom I've tussled with before, will be the guide! That should be deliciously awkward. How could I not go?
There will also be a panel featuring what may quite literally be my three favorite women in the atheist movement: Jen McCreight, Debbie Goddard, and Greta Christina.
Notable Speakers: Bart Ehrman, Richard Dawkins, Steven Pinker
April 21-24, the American Atheists National Convention, Des Moines, Iowa
Giving a talk over activism in the youth movement.
Notable Speakers: PZ Myers, Christopher Hitchens, Greta Christina
May 21, Fort Hays Wichita State University, Wichita, Kansas
I will return to the town I once lived in for about a year to give a talk (probably Dear Christian) alongside a veritable dream cast of atheist presenters. They're shooting for May 21, the day on which some Christian sects are saying the world will end. I hear Dr. Carrier's talk will be called You're All Gonna Die! How the Jews Kept Failing to Predict Doomsday and Caused Christianity Instead. This one should be a lot of fun!
There is now a web site for this event. It's free to get in, but registration is required via the web site.
Notable Speakers: Richard Carrier, David Fitzgerald, Darrel Ray, Sam Singleton
There are some others in development, but nothing set in brimstone yet (it's possible I'll be in Springfield, Mo sometime in March). If you are wanting me to speak, my schedule is closing up really quick, FYI. Get on it! :P

Sounds like fun!
Make sure you say hi to Dawkins for me. Also, you might want to update your speaking schedule on your profile. :P
COME. TO. HAWAII.
Wait, so are you going to Fort Hays State (in Hays, KS) or Wichita, KS?
@jonny_quest - Wichita.
JT
Hey, looks like you're going to make it out my way (U of M in March). Would love to see the debate. :)
I beyond dubiety revalue your articles and blogs.
