• Update from Beantown

  First, how awesome would it be if Boston really were a town of beans?  I would totally be doing canonballs off my hotel room balcony. 

  Anyway, despite a fairly rough day psychologically  (I've already eaten about 300 calories this morning, so doing better), yesterday contained some tremendous good times.  I got interviewed for a documentary on the youth secular movement and, if I do say so, was on top of my game for it.  I added some good tweaks to my talk today, and I got to reunite with some old friends like Greta Christina, Jen McCreight, and Debbie Goddard.

  

  Also, the hotel room I'm in is pure swank.  It's on the 7th floor and has its own private (and sizeable) balcony, complete with seating.  Yaweh doesn't live this well.

  I also got to meet Jessica Ahlquist in a delirious haze of lack of sleep around 2am.  So of course, like any genius who has to give a fairly important talk today, here I am up at 7am to blog and hit the gym.  Ah well, sleep is for the weak and the dead.

  Suit-wearing was not that bad, though I still feel like I'm wearing a Halloween costume.  I did get several comments about how schnazzy I looked, which is always nice.  Today I'm thinking charcoal grey pants with a maroon shirt and a navy blazer.  To complete the look, I will also endeavor to sip champagne at some point and to run for office.

  Will try to throw some tweets up today and will take a prolific amount of pictures.

  Now, on to the ass-kicking!
